A middle-aged man named Dauda Kafinta was reportedly killed in a violent clash between farmers and herdsmen in Gululu village, located in the Miga Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
Reports from the area indicate that four other individuals sustained various degrees of injuries during the conflict, which occurred on Friday morning.
In an interview with Tribune Online, the village head of Gululu, Malam Muhammad Sarkin-Dori, stated, “We woke up this morning to find that a provision shop had been broken into by suspected thieves. Some residents decided to follow the footpaths of the suspected thieves, which led them to a nearby Fulani settlement, where the violent clash took place.”
