The Jigawa Chief Judge, Alhaji Aminu Sabo, has donated teaching and learning materials to Government Day Senior Secondary School Jan-Wando in Ringim Local Government Area of the state.
The Spokesman of the Ministry of Education, Alhaji Wasilu Umar, confirmed this in a statement in Dutse on Tuesday.
Wasilu said that the materials were handed over to the principal of the school, Malam Yusha’u Adamu in the presence of the executives of the school’s Parent Teachers Association (PTA).

He explained that the items included 46 essential chemistry textbooks, 12 biology textbooks, 23 physics textbooks, a human skeleton, 30 science charts, as well as practical equipment for chemistry, physics and biology.
The spokesman quoted the principal as saying that the materials would help to boost teaching and learning in the school.
According to him, the PTA Chairman of the school, Malam Abdullahi Agali, commended the CJ for the gesture and appealed to wealthy individuals in the state to emulate him.
