Highlife maestro, Jesse King, popularly known as Buga, has joined forces with legendary Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba for a duet.
The veteran musicians revealed their fusion masterpiece, “Gbabeson,” on December 1.
According to Buga, the collaboration emerged after weeks of dedicated experimentation aimed at crafting a musical journey that transcends conventional genres.
“ ‘Gbabeson’ promises a distinctive blend, seamlessly weaving highlife with Ayuba’s iconic Fuji vibes. The production brilliance behind this musical endeavor is attributed to the talented @beatzbyjava, who injected an extra layer of excitement and anticipation into what is expected to be a groundbreaking collaboration.”
Buga expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “My innovative approach to blending highlife and Fuji is not only for delighted fans but also pioneers a new era of cross-genre exploration, giving birth to ‘a new baby,’ a unique and captivating sound that transcends traditional boundaries.”
