The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State gubernatorial election, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, won in polling booth of Unit 2, Ward 9 of Akure South Local Government.
He garnered 184 votes, while his counterparts in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Rotimi Akeredolu and Alliance for Democracy (AD), Mr Olusola Oke polled 77 and 32 votes respectively.
Also, Akeredolu and Oke won their polling units.
