Planecar is the name given by the seller to the weird-looking but stunning vehicle, most likely because it combines some features of a car and an aircraft. It has a 6.0-liter engine, rear-wheel drive, air conditioning, cruise control, automatic gearbox, and can accommodate up to six people onboard. There is a propeller in the front that spins freely whenever the car is in forward motion.

It meets the basic requirements of a vehicle by the law – headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, side view mirrors, and so on. Its front end is from a Sierra 2500 HD truck while the rear is the tail of a Cessna aircraft. This is likely to be a major disadvantage when going at higher speeds.

The fancy vehicle could serve anyone who wants attention rather than a utility vehicle. Planecar is currently listed on eBay for $8,600 and the auction ends in some hours’ time. 14 bids had been placed as at Wednesday evening. The buyer will be responsible for the shipping.
