Ishaku orders aides seeking elective positions in 2023 to resign

Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku has directed all political appointees serving in the state that are desirous of contesting for political positions in the 2023 general elections to resign on or before Friday, April 8.

This is according to the press statement issued to pressmen in Jalingo.

The statement indicated that political appointees serving in the local governments including supervisory councillors, special advisers and secretaries to the local councils are affected.

The governor however appreciated their contributions to the progress and development of his administration in the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
