Kidney stone symptoms can appear suddenly and can be quite intense. Common symptoms include severe pain in the side and back, below the ribs, pain that radiates to the lower abdomen and groin, pain during urination, pink, red, or brown urine, foul-smelling or cloudy urine, nausea and vomiting, and persistent need to urinate. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, it’s important to seek medical attention promptly.
