Is there no good hotel in Ado–Ekiti?

As the small car  of the tourism reporter eats up the road into Ado at 7:30 pm on that Saturday,  the capital city of Ekiti State  where there was an urgent assignment to accomplish the next day, the first worry was where on earth would he lay his head, eat good meal and have a solemn, cool , quiet place devoid of nightclubbing and unnecessary deluge of people.

He was making a mental survey of the hotels in Ado having a remembrance of how some of these hotels which he had visited, slept, dined and made merry with different experience which is indelible in his memory as   some are manned by ill-trained personnel, some are big with poor facilities, some are like motor parks which are for deluge of people, few try to ape good service and many are just hotels in name only.

With this kind of unsavoury  memories of hospitality service in Ado–Ekiti, the reporter made a few calls seeking to find out whether there is a new hotel or guest house in the town which is located off the road, nice, cool , where the facilities are not only modern but of state of the earth where the staff are not only warm but enthusiastic to visitors, a hotel where it is not a public place, one where  customers’ privacy is guaranteed, where lodgers and his property’s safety is not negotiated or cannot be negotiated for any gold or complacence, a hotel where the basic necessities light, water, are 24 hours compliant . The reporter needs a hotel which exhibits and parades the latest of facilities, exquisite fixtures, and fittings and a place which its splendour and luxury will be unmatched or be the best so far in Ado–Ekiti it does not even matter if it has no functional swimming pool for now.
