Is tap water safe to drink?

I want to know if drinking Tap water is safe.

Some countries have public tap water that is safe for drinking while others don’t have. It is always advisable to check with the agency in charge of water supply in the country you are currently domiciled to know if the Tap water is safe for drinking.
