For unknown reason, the tv personalty left Nigeria for the United Kingdom some years ago and picked an interest in lifestyle blogging, while also championing a foundation that fights for the rights of women and children.
Funmi Iyanda commands a large followership and her daily posts on social media is trailed by the pleas of many of her fans and admirers urging her to come back to television, stating how they have missed her show and presence.

From indications, it seems the woman is giving the request a thought. Funmi was back in Nigeria some days ago, the tv host was at the Vaults Garden, Ikoyi, Lagos with her brother, the publisher of qed.ng, Olumide. They were there to decorate their father’s resting place.
People close to the broadcaster hinted that she could be back in Nigeria for good, with tales that a surprise is brewing for her teeming fans and admirers, and for the time being, we keep our fingers crossed.
