The leader, Irewole local government house of parliamentarians, Honourable Oyeleke Kazeem (Asekunlowo) has come out to debunk the news making round on both print and online media about the impeachment of Irewole local government chairman, Honourable Prince Remi Abass.
While speaking with journalist in his capacity as leader of the house at his office in Irewole local government secretariat, Honourable Oyeleke Kazeem said there was no point in time during plenary session that the local government chairman was suspended nor impeached.
Explicitly, he said a committee set up to look into the finances of the local government was only giving reports in the house in which no evidence of financial misappropriation was found before some unscrupulous elements present to observe the session went to media to give falsehood of what actually played out which was far away from the reality.

The leader of the house in his conclusion quotably said ” I am using this medium to inform Osun State government stakeholders, residents and more importantly Irewole local government residents that Honourable Prince Remi Abass was never impeached as Irewole local government chairman and still remains the number one citizen of the local government, so people should desist from spreading fake news.”
