Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has sent his heartfelt condolences to his Bauchi State counterpart, Senator Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed, over the demise of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Duguri, popularly known as Dada, who passed away at the age of 120 years.
Yahaya who expressed sorrow over the loss, described the late Hajiya Hauwa as a great woman and exemplary mother whose long life was marked by wisdom, kindness, and devotion to her family and community.
The Northern States Governors’ Forum Chairman, while acknowledging the impact of her life and legacy, sympathized with the bereaved family and the entire people of Bauchi State over the huge loss.
He urged the family to find solace in the exemplary life she led and the positive influence she had on those around her.
The Governor offered prayers for the late centenarian, seeking Almighty Allah’s forgiveness for her shortcomings and praying Him to reward her good deeds with Aljannat Firdausi.
