The founder of Into Migration, Dr Ibilade Adesokan, was honoured alongside other prominent Nigerians on Wednesday at the 2024 Southwest Advancement Award and Investment Summit.
Adesokan was honoured as an Outstanding Personality of the Year.
The event, tagged; “Unlocking Investment Opportunities in the South West States” was held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The Southwest Advancement Award and Investment Summit 2024 is meant to celebrate great personalities in the South-West geopolitical zone.
During the award, Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke, emerged as Governor of the Year, while the Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji emerged as Public Administrator of the Year and Seyi Tinubu emerged as the Youth Icon of the Year.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, one of the awardees, Adesokan, appreciated the organiser for the recognition, pledging to contribute more towards the growth of the Southwest zone of the country.
