Institution reiterates resolve to train graduates, bridge tech gaps in Africa

Published by

A Nigeria-based coding school, Conclase Academy, has revealed that the school is unwaveringly focused on churning out graduates that will bridge the existing tech skills gaps in both the private and public sectors for Africa to be on par with technologically advanced nations.

The academy, established in 2021, boasted that it had succeeded in opening the vista of opportunities for its third set of graduates by creating paid internship programmes and employment windows for them in high-flying companies operating in the tech sector in Nigeria and the African continent.

Speaking in a statement, the company’s CEO, Adeposi Bamiduro, said Conclase Academy had successfully trained over 3000 students equipped with different in-demand technology skills.

Bamiduro said that the graduates of the third cohort had undergone a rigorous selection process and were matched with suitable companies based on their skills, interests, and performance.

He said that the internships would last for a minimum of three months and would provide the graduates with hands-on experience and mentorship from industry experts.

In his words, “We are very proud of our graduates, and we are confident that they will excel in their internships. Our goal is to help them transition from learning to earning and to prepare them for the global tech market.

”Conclase Academy is highly regarded in the tech space because the school provides guaranteed paid internship placement for its graduates as a way to help them gain experience in a real work environment.

“Some of the companies that have partnered with the school to offer internship opportunities for graduates of the academy include Seven Up Bottling Company, Sycamore Integrated Technology, and Pause Factory, among others”.

Bamiduro called on the private sector, government, and NGOs to team up with the school, not just by sponsoring students to learn tech skills but also by offering internship opportunities for graduates of the academy in their companies.

He stated that admission into Conclase Academy’s fifth cohort is already on, with classes set to go live in December 2023.
