Insecurity: Senate in executive session with ministers, service chiefs

The Senate is currently in closed-door deliberations with certain Ministers in the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and Service Chiefs.

Shortly after their arrival, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio announced that the meeting with the Service Chiefs and Ministers will be an executive session.

The meeting is an interface with the Service Chiefs to address the security challenges facing the country.

The President of the Senate announced on the floor of the Red Chamber the presence of Minister  of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar; his counterpart in Interior, Olubunmi Tunji- Ojo and Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister, Wale Edun.

The National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu was also in attendance along with Service Chiefs.
