Innoson motors inaugurates IVM Granite 2019 Model in Nnewi

THE Anambra state Governor Chief Willie Obiano says his administration will continue to promote development through focusing on areas of Industrialisation, education, power supply and agriculture.

He stated this during the official commissioning of Innoson vehicle Automated Plant and the unveiling of Innoson IVM Granite 2019 model.

Governor Obiano who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke was led round the company on an inspection tour with other government functionaries, Stakeholders, traditional rulers, who graced the epoch-making event.

Commissioning the Innoson Vehicle Automated Plant, Governor Obiano commended the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Innoson vehicle, Mr Innoson Chukwuma and other notable businessmen from Nnewi for their Innovative ventures and for bringing back home their wealth which he noted has accelerated transformation in the state both in infrastructure and other areas.

The Governor who explained that the state government is intensifying efforts to attract the federal government to boost power supply in Nnewi and environs stated that the event signals the beginning of a new era in making Nigeria a truly industrialised nation.

He, therefore, called on federal government to partner with Innoson Vehicles for the manufacturing of its specific and customised operational vehicles that will enhance the operations of security agencies in performing their task and also provide more employment for youths in the country

In a remark, the member representing Nnewi North and South constituency, at the National Assembly, Mr Chris Azubogu, applauded the Federal government on the promise to install five megawatts power supply within six months as long as Nnewi town will provide land for that.

Responding, Mr Chukwuma, who assured that he will continue to give out his best and as well strive to become one of the best leading vehicles manufacturing brand in the world.

Mr Chukwuma further said that the company equally collaborated with the Nigeria Army for the design, modify, manufacturing and supply of military vehicles which he explained has led to the gross increase of vehicles produced by the company with the attendant benefits of more employment and revenue to the government.
