According to the list posted, about seventy-four candidates have been screened successfully to contest for the National Assembly in the state 2019 general election.
The list has it that forty-seven (47) out of the candidates are for House of Representative while Twenty Seven (27 ) is for Senate.
From the list, the All Progressive Congress Apc have three Senatorial candidates which include Senator Julius Ali ucha for Ebonyi Central, chief Mathias Adum for Ebonyi North, and Onunweze Prince for Ebonyi South.
Also, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) returned back their senatorial candidates except for Senator Sonni Ogbuorji who was replaced by Michael Ama nnachi for Ebonyi South, over his defection.
However, thirteen other senatorial candidates from other parties like PPL, ZLP, ID, NFD, PPA, UPP, LPN, ACPN, ANN, LEGACY PARTY, names were also shortlisted.
Meanwhile, PDP and APC six candidates list were also shortlisted including Nshii Uchenna Mbam for Abakaliki/ Izzi, Michael H Ifera Ezza North/Ishielu, Chinedu Oga Nweke, for Ikwo/Ezza South, Odi Festus Ifesinachi Ohanivo, Anthony Eko Afikpo North/South, Peter Oge-Ali, Ebonyi/Ohaukwu.
