The commission in a statement obtained by the Nigerian Tribune in Abeokuta, on Sunday, said it is still expecting the balance of 5,211 under processing.
The electoral body also noted that about 400,000 PVCs are yet to be collected by those who registered for the exercise in 2011,2014/2015 exercise.
Eligible voters who registered during the previous and the 2017 exercise are to collect their cards at the Commission’s local government offices across the State, on the presentation of their Temporary Voter Card (TVC).
It also assured those who registered in 2018 that their PVCs will be ready for collection before the 2019 general elections.

INEC said the issuance of the Permanent Voters’ Cards is free while collection by proxy would not be allowed.
It also enjoined all eligible voters who are yet to register to take advantage of the on-going exercise to do so, so as to enable them to perform their civic responsibilities.
