INDEPENDENT National Electoral Commission (INEC), Kwara State, on Wednesday, commenced distribution of sensitive materials to the 16 local government areas of the State.
Speaking at the official flag-off of the exercise at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) premises in Ilorin, the state Residents Electoral Commissioner, Mallam Attahiru Madami, said that election materials would be transported to local government that are far away from the State capital before others.
The REC also said that election materials would be delivered to various registration area centres as soon as they get to the local governments.

He explained that all the card readers had been updated, adding that backups had also been provided to ensure efficiency.
Mallam Madami noted that re-training of all ad-hoc staff would commence on Friday, while he urged electorate to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the election.
