Nigeria, we hail thee or should I say we salute thee – that’s how we simply pacify ourselves amid so much hardship and chaos we have caused ourselves; a nation with so much to offer, ranging from natural to human resources.
However, it will surprise you that we still wage war against ourselves. So, I ask one simple question: what’s the essence of boasting to the rest of the world that we are proud of our motherland? We have a government ready to listen to the people, a government ready to work for the people and a government with strategic policies with making sure our dear and beloved country is taken to greater heights. If we decide to cripple the economy with strikes, we will all suffer for it.
Asking for unrealistic amount of wage increase will lead to job losses, companies will lay off staff and expect one or two employees to simply carry out the tasks that 10 individuals would have carried out.
Enough is enough. It is time we reflect on what the government of President Bola Tinubu is doing and also appreciate its efforts to see that every citizen of our great country Nigeria has means of a steady means of income.
Remembering the national anthem and the pledge to be loyal is a must. And always bear in mind that our path to prosperity is through unity and peace. God bless Nigeria and the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
