Impact of internet on students

The internet is a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected communication protocols.

 

It is a medium to connect with the entire world. People use the internet to connect with other people, sharing files,  entertainment, information and lots of other activities that are useful and beneficial.

It is also a means of connecting a computer to other computers anywhere in the world via routers and severs.

Today, almost all schools and colleges have moved to laptop and projectors, thus abandoning the use  of chalkboards.

Student are taught through online videos. They subscribe to online research portals which, needless to say, have to be accessed via theinternet.

Communication is the most important gift that theinternet has given to the common people.

E-mail, together with social networking sites, is a prime example.

The internet which is cherished by nearly everyone and has made life easier to a large extent.

The internet helps scholars  to exchange  concepts  and materials amid virtual tools for their research and academic works.

The internet allows and makes it possible for schools and students to exchange knowledge with corporate clusters and organisations related to various subjects.

Such interventions help students to have functional and technical exposure which will help them later in life.

They also benefit companies with knowledge, providing means for them to be in contact with people at hours of the day and night from e-mail, forums, chat rooms, telephone calls and videos.

Also of great benefit are books, online helps centres, expert views and other study-oriented materials on the internet that can make the learning process very easy.

The internet as learning a tool is significant.

The development of internet technologies has raised the education levels in countries and it has changed the way students are taught in schools.

It is very necessary for the present generation to be internet-compliant.   Students can access entire-libraries without leaving their different houses.

Student today are the luckiest in that they have modern technology easily  available to them, unlike in the past when students had to rely on their books and those they could find in the libraries.

Student have various  tools they can use for different purposes.

They have great potential to achieve success. Besides books and periodicals, substantial materials are accessible via the internet and in public libraries across the globe.
