Imo Police Commissioner inaugurates new PCRC management committee

The Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhmmade Barde, has inaugurated the new management committee of Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), charging them to discharge their duties diligently for the good of the association and the image of the Police.

Inaugurating the Committee, CP Barde, who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC. Peter Okpara extolled the emergence of the new management team of PCRC.

He said that the team with its chairman, who has been in the saddle of leadership before now, is a tested and trusted person.

The CP declared that the Imo State Police Command has absolute confidence in the new leader of the committee while expressing his hope that he would do well in his new assignment.

Speaking at the event, the national President of NCRC, Alhaji Magaji Ibrahim Olaniye, while congratulating the new committee appealed to the members in the state to give them the absolute support they deserve to succeed.

He stressed the need for the Committee to work in collaboration with the Police Command and Police Area Command in order to achieve success.

The National President of the NCRC was represented at the event by the Deputy National Organizing PCRC. Force Headquarters Abuja, Engr. Chukwu, expressed hope that with the inauguration of the new leadership, the membership would swell up to encouraging figures during their next meeting.

He expressed concerns that the new chairman having started well with the inauguration will certainly do well and begin his assignments of steering the ship of the organization.

Responding shortly after inauguration, the new chairman of Imo PCRC, Chima Chukwunyere while thanking the Commissioner of Police for inaugurating the management team, assured to do his best to move the association forward.

Chukwunyere promised to continue from where he stopped while he expressed strong determination to restore the dignity and unity of PCRC.
