I’m just a woman growing, glowing —Tonto Dikeh

Nigerian celebrity, Tonto Dikeh, without any shadow of doubt, a figure long recognised for her controversial presence in the entertainment industry, has disclosed her plans to fully embrace her new, drama-free persona.

Known for her previous celebrity spats and public controversies, Dikeh is now focused on a transformative journey that includes both personal and political aspirations. Her recent statements reflect a commitment to her newfound identity and a departure from her earlier contentious public image.

The actress turned politician has been vocally celebrating her transformation.

She took to social media to express her happiness about her new, scandal-free life. “I’m so happy for the new transformation. Drama-free lifestyle. Forever inspiration,” she posted, reflecting on the significant change in her public image.

Her statement highlights a stark contrast from her earlier days, filled with high-profile conflicts and personal dramas.

Recently, amidst ongoing public feuds involving personalities such as Very Dark Man and Iyabo Ojo, Dikeh made it clear that she remained unaffected by the drama surrounding her.

She stated that she would only engage with issues or individuals who are of considerable importance to her. “Before I set a ring light and camera to reply to anyone, the person must be very important. I haven’t seen anyone yet worth my time or voice,” she asserted, underscoring her commitment to staying above the fray.

In a deeper reflection of her personal journey, Dikeh addressed her past and its impact on her current mindset. She shared that her previous struggles, rather than being a source of embarrassment, are viewed as a testament to her resilience.

“What may be tea for others is a testimony for me. If anyone wants to talk about what broke me, they should invite me to their table so I can tell them how God used the pieces,” she said.

The actress, who has always been open about her imperfections, previously admitted that she does not claim to be perfect. Recently, she publicly acknowledged her flaws and emphasised her humanity.

“I can never be Jesus, even if I tried. I’m just the girl growing and glowing,” she remarked.

Adding to her candid nature, Dikeh recently confessed her own toxic traits in a social media post. Her unfiltered honesty about her character traits highlighted her unwavering self-confidence.

“There is no man born of a woman that I will fear. My self-confidence would make one think I own the world,” she stated, reflecting a strong sense of self-assurance.

Dikeh’s transformation extends beyond personal growth and self-awareness; it also encompasses her current focus on her political career. She emphasised the importance of staying engaged with her own endeavors, particularly those that contribute to her livelihood. “Minding the business that pays the bills… I can never overemphasise the joy I found in PEACE,” she noted.

Her gratitude for this new phase of her life is evident in her recent expressions of appreciation for her peaceful transition.

Dikeh’s acknowledgment of the joy she derives from her newfound peace and stability is a testament to her successful reinvention. “Lord, I appreciate my transition,” she added.
