Actress Mercy Aigbe, in her birthday mood, said she could not have come far in life and career without the grace of God. She recalled some difficult moments in life, describing every experience as a lesson to get things done better.
In a post she shared to celebrate her day, the mother of two, who was said to have mended fence with her ex-husband Gentry, said she was an imperfect woman but was showed love by God, adding that she is one woman who brushes her tears and covers her scars with her bravery.
For her, the love of her children has kept her going, just as she acknowledged the roles of friends and family members who never gave up on her during moments that were capable of silencing her.
“I am imperfect, beautiful, sexy and kind. I am protective of myself and I am always very honest and truthful to myself. I am one woman who brushes her tears, tries to heal her wounds and cover her scars the best way I can without public attention.
“You should not be afraid to be yourself even when you feel weak and broken inside because the strongest action of a woman is love herself and shine amongst those who never believed she could,” she added.
