I’m excited about joining Grammy Recording Academy —Kolawole Sunday

Public relations expert and founder of Scoop Media concepts, Kolawole Omobioriowo, fondly known as Scoop, has expressed his excitement on being part of the few accepted to be a member of the Recording Academy.

Sunday who could not contain joy, expressed excitement at the prospect of being one of the select few eligible to vote in the new category for artiste of their choosing.

“I am super elated to share the news of my acceptance into the prestigious Recording Academy. This cheering news is coming against the backdrop of the consideration given to Afrobeat by Grammy Awards and I feel truly proud to be part of this new development.

“Being accepted into the Academy simply means I will be eligible to vote in the new category for artiste of my choice and I can’t express how much joy this feat ushered into my life and career as music executive.”

He described it as a dream come true, stating, “This for me, is a dream come true and it bestows on me the duty to remain focused and diligent with my work.”

He has often been a connecting link responsible for creating platforms and opportunities for many in the Nigerian entertainment Industry and that of  international.

For him, the plan is to let the world have a feel of the potential that Nigeria is blessed with and connect with that uniqueness to achieve greater things.

He has often clamoured for the promotion of the African sound through international connect and collaborations that are capable of building long lasting relationships among artistes both home and abroad.

Furthermore, the PR expert stated that, there is a lot that can be achieved in working collectively to actualising a goal.

“My dream is for my colleagues to build long lasting relationships that will foster unity and bring collaborations that will benefit all of us, especially as pertaining to music,” he said.
