I’ll give N1m every month to anyone interested in learning handwork – VeryDarkMan

Controversial social media personality, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has promised to give out one million naira every month until December to individuals willing to learn a trade.

He made the announcement in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, stating that the initiative would begin at the end of January and run through to the end of the year.

According to VeryDarkMan, the offer is open not only to his online followers but also to anyone who can access him in person.

He emphasised that the funds for the program would come from his personal earnings, not from his NGO.

VeryDarkMan said, “Starting from the end of this month to the end of the year, I’ll be giving N1 million every month.

“This money will be shared by five people each month. It’s for those who want to learn a trade. It’s my money, not NGO money—my hard-earned money.”

He also stated that the motivation behind this is to help people who need an opportunity and are currently doing menial jobs.

VeryDarkMan urged interested individuals to inquire about training programs, gather the necessary details, as he would be paying the institutions directly.

“If I want to pay, I’m not giving you the money; I’ll pay the place where you’ll learn,” he said.
