I’ll focus more on rural than urban development, Akinlade assures Ogun people

The governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement in Ogun State, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade has promised that his administration would focus more on rural than urban development if elected as the next governor of the state.
He gave the promise during his visit to the Olobi of Olobi, Oba Saliu Ajibade, during his campaign tour to the community in Ogun Waterside Local Government, that his government would invest massively in rural dwellers so as to develop the local economy to guarantee the standard of living of the people.
“I will invest hugely in all rural communities than urban in Ogun State. I will do this by creating opportunities for the people in the rural areas, we will empower them so that they can make money on their own without depending on anyone by doing all these the standard living of the people will be guaranteed.
“I will also renovate all bad roads in the rural communities,  I don’t need to be told about the road here is very bad and I promise you that Olobi’s road will not be excluded if elected,” he said.
Akinlade also promised to create job opportunities for the people of Ogun State, saying that his party stand the chance of winning the next gubernatorial election.
Oba Adedokun urged Akinlade to provide good road network and power generation for the people of the area if elected.
“The only thing that can solve the issue of bad roads is to have good road network and the second is power so that development can continue to be in everywhere of the State then we will have access to rapid development,” he added.
