Ilaka, round peg in round hole

I was not astonished when Governor Seyi Makinde announced his first appointment and made  Chief  Bisi Ilaka his Chief of Staff. This appointment is well deserved as Ilaka is the right man for the job.  I am personally sure and confident that  the  Ladilu of  Oyo  Empire would bring to the service of our state his vast experience,  industry and dedication in the private sector and as a prominent lawyer and tax consultant in the discharge of his enormous responsibilities.

Akeredolu sacks three commissioners

Ilaka is a man that lives his life for others, he has a pure heart and he is a cheerful giver who is kind to  a  fault.  Through the Oyebola  Ilaka  Foundation, he had sunk over 400 electric boreholes in  Ibadan, Oyo and Ogbomosho. He has also given grants to public schools,  he has picked the WAEC/GCE bill for the unprivileged.  he has helped indigent persons in paying their medical bills with support grants to the widows and widowers.

Ilaka is a problem solver and humility-personified.

He has been a pillar of support for many since he came back to the country.

He exhibits an uncommon love for people irrespective of their different backgrounds and enjoys putting smiles on the faces of anyone that comes his way.

My prayer for  Governor Makinde and his team is that may Almighty Allah guide them in the discharge of the tasks ahead to take the Pacesetter  State to greater heights.

Olayiwola Luqman,

Oyo.
