Iju waterworks commences operation

The Lagos State Water Corporation Iju Waterworks has commenced operations to complement Adiyan Waterworks to improving service delivery in Lagos State.

The Iju Waterworks project was disclosed in a press statement released and signed by the corporation’s Communication Manager, Razaq Anifowose on Friday.

The statement read in part, “Earlier, operations commenced at the LWC Adiyan waterworks and Akute Intake as a result of the restoration of power supply by the Ikeja Distribution Company (IKEDC), therefore restored potable water supply to Lagosians.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused during the period of water scarcity, as the Corporation is undoubtedly committed to providing water supply to every home in the State. Thanking you for your usual cooperation and understanding.”
