Idris Elba, Boris Kodjoe, Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful, Anthony Anderson were among the celebrity guests from Hollywood, sports, fashion and business in Ghana for a week of musical entertainment, cultural activities, brunches, parties, empowering roundtable discussions and fun-filled family days.

The event, which commenced on 22 January with the official launch of the Full Circle Festival (FCF), will also mark the 400 years anniversary of the start of the West African slave trade.

Between 1619 and 1860, over 12 million Africans were forcefully loaded on ships and transported to the Americas, far removed from their families, their culture, their ancestors, with the attendant pain, suffering, and death the new world brought.

Ahead of other African countries, Ghana and the Diaspora established the FCF to honour this ancestry by celebrating heritage and generational legacy.

Organised by So Fraiche Media, the Full Circle Festival, was chaired by The Office of His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo and presented by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Business Development and the Office of Diaspora Affairs.

The over forty international celebrities were introduced to facets of Ghanaian culture, through a bonanza of musical events, day trips of the coastal region of Ghana.
