The Bauchi State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has donated learning and instructional materials to Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Kofar Wambai in celebration of the 2024 International Day of the Girl Child (IDGG).

The donated items included textbooks, whiteboards, dusters, and markers, aimed at enhancing the learning and teaching processes at the school.

The theme for this year’s International Day for the Girl Child is “Girls Vision for the Future.” Rashida Yusuf, the Chairperson of Bauchi State NAWOJ, reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to advocating for girl child education and promoting adolescent health.

She emphasized that NAWOJ will continue to intensify its sensitization campaigns to support girls in realizing their potential.
