ICYMI: Why BBNaija S9 housemates voted us out — Tami

Published by

Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Damilola, has shed light on the reasons behind her and her partner Toyosi’s elimination from the show.

On Sunday, the duo, known as the Tami pair, were voted out by eight out of ten housemates, marking their departure from the Big Brother House.

The Tami pair found themselves among the bottom four alongside Streeze, Chekas, and The Radicals.

However, The Radicals were spared from eviction after the custodian’s NdiNne pair selected the “save only” box, which allowed them to remain in the house.

Consequently, the remaining housemates who were not up for eviction cast their votes, leading to the elimination of the Tami pair.

In an interview with host Ebuka after their eviction, Damilola expressed that she was not surprised by the outcome.

“I wasn’t surprised at the results tonight,” she said.

“Tami has had issues with a lot of the housemates,” Damilola suggested that the voting results were influenced by these conflicts.

Meanwhile, Streeze emerged victorious in the custodian challenge held on Sunday night.

As a result, they are immune from eviction for the week and will have the authority to affect both this week’s eviction nominations and the Head of House challenge.

With the departure of Tami, the number of active pairs in the house has been reduced to 13.
