Born on February 1, 1968 in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
He had his primary education at Our Saviours Anglican Primary School in Ipoti-Ekiti. His secondary education was also in Ekiti State. He later proceeded to Ondo State College of Arts and Science in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.
Ayefele worked briefly as a journalist and broadcaster at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan, where he also produced jingles and musical works on radio.
He began his music career in 1997.
Yinka Ayefele is a Nigerian music producer, gospel singer, journalist, entrepreneur, popular radio presenter, and founder of Fresh and Blast FM network of radio stations across south-western Nigeria.
Other branches of Ayefele’s radio stations are opened in Abeokuta, Ado Ekiti, Akure, Osogbo and Lagos.
