Ibori to land at Benin airport, not Warri

SUPPORTERS and fans of released former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, are returning to their homes after news filtered in that the he would no longer land at Osubi airstrip, but Benin airport.

The crowd of supporters mainly from Ibori’s Oghara country home had been waiting at the airstrip from the wee hours of Saturday to welcome their son from incarceration in the United Kingdom (UK).

Earlier, reports said after the former governor arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja Saturday morning, he was invited by the Department of State Security (DSS) for a chat.
