Ibadan Chamber of Commerce, Business Botswana partner on business development

THE Ibadan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and Business Botswana are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on how the two organisations can work in harmony for the development of business in Oyo State and Botswana.

This was the crux of a meeting between the representatives of Ibadan Chamber of Commerce and Business Botswana which held recently in Ibadan.

Speaking at the meeting, the President, Business Botswana who led the delegation to Oyo State, Mr Gobusamang Kerebine, hinted that Business Botswana is ready to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ibadan Chamber of Commerce to broadcast business activities in Oyo State in Botswana in order to attract potential investors from Botswana.

He stated that this would also in no small measure boost the business working relationship between Ibadan Chamber of Commerce and Business Botswana.

In his remarks, The First Deputy President, Ibadan Chamber of Commerce, Sir Sola Abodunrin, said: “We are ready to work with you in the development of the state and overall development of your country.

“Our area of strength are in agriculture and mineral resources. We are interested in the processing of our agricultural products for export,” he concluded.
