I2 persons burnt to death in motor accident in Kaduna

The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) has said that 12persons were burnt to death,while 5 persons were seriously injured in a motor accident which occurred on Sunday at Kajuru junction Maraba Rido  Kachi road, in Kaduna.

This was disclosed by Salish Umar Galadanci, FRSC Sector Head of Operations, Kaduna on Monday.

He said, ‘two vehicles moving in the same direction collided and caught fire with 18 persons inside.

According to him, the vehicles were trying to dodge a motorcyclist who was crossing road.

‘While, the first vehicle in front which was on speed tried avoiding the Okada but instead ran  into a ditch by the road side and the other vehicle following  rammed into the bus in front and the vehicles caught  fire.

’12 people were burnt to death, while 5 persons were seriously injured. Among the deceased were 2 male, 10 female.

He advised motorists to follow the traffic rules whenever they want to overtake.
