Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State
THE Ondo State governor elect, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Thursday assured the people of the state that he would not embark on sectionals or tribal politics after assuming office on February, saying his administration will be fair to all in the execution of policies and projects.
Akeredolu who stated this when members of the Owo Reformed Association (ORA), Ikare Akoko Chapter, paid him a congratulatory visit in his Owo residence promised to embark on aggressive life changing projects in the state.
Akeredolu said “not one single town or community will be left out in the task of developing the state. My mission is to make Ondo State great again; there is no time for sectional or tribal politics.”
According to him, his mission in the governorship race was not for selfish or sectional interest, but said the urge to serve the people of the state and make a positive and meaningful contribution.
Akeredolu pointed out that his heart desire is to make the state a single and indivisible family saying, “All I want is to make an impact, to make life better for the people, to take the state to a greater height.
“My major aim is to make our state the real pride of the people. I think God saw my heart desires for the people and the people never disappointed in that wise.
Earlier, the chairman of the association, Kehinde Fabuluje, enjoined the governor elect do away with sycophants and praise singers who will do all things possible to curry favour from him for selfish interest.
Fabuluje urged him to ensure an even development in the state.
