Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu
The Edo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has pledged to continue with the development strides of the immediate past governor of the state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole should he win the forthcoming election scheduled for September 19.
Ize-Iyamu who spoke weekend at Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government Area during a rally in company of his running mate, Alhaji Gani Audu commended the erstwhile national chairman of the APC for building roads, bridges, schools and health centres across the entire state when he was governor.
He commended the people of Etsako Central Local Government Area for the reception organized to welcome Oshiomhole back home after his national assignment as national chairman of the APC.
The APC governorship candidate lamented the myriads of projects which now lie abandoned across the entire state by the current Obaseki/Shaibu regime.
Ize-Iyamu who said he and his running mate have no plan to behave like Governor Godwin Obaseki assured all Edo people that change is coming to the state with his Agenda, which explained his plan of action when he gets elected as governor.
Present at the ceremony were two former Members, Federal House of Representatives, Alhaji Abubakar Momoh and Patrick Obahiagbon, the APC State Secretary Lawrence Okah, the State deputy chairman, Mr Jarrett Tenebe, as well as the former National President of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, Mr Peter Esele, Chief Richard Lamai, Blessing Agbonmhere, and former chairmen of Etsako West, Lucky James and Etsako East, Stanley Okpo Odidi amongst others.
