I still have menses at 60

I am a 60 year old woman. When I was 50 years old, my menses stopped only to re appear four years later. Although the bleeding is not as bright and does not come for long as a normal menses, it has been on since then. I am now 60 years old and the blood is still coming. Kindly let me know what to do.

Although, a few cases of delayed menses have been reported, any case of uterine bleeding at your age needs to be properly investigated to rule out any  underlying ailment. In view of this, it will be good if you can see a doctor who is specialized in women’s diseases (Gynecologist) in the nearest Specialist or Teaching Hospital to you for a proper examination and appropriate tests.
