A Business Administration graduate, Abdulsalam Fatimat Olaide, has declared that she never regretted going into music after she had completed her degree in North American University in 2007.
Fatimat, also known as Eyinju Anabi, said her desire to propagate Islam through songs gave her confidence that she would be proud of her decision.
She disclosed that her father was waiting for her to become a successful banker, but had to concede to her passion for the music.
“My father had to pray for me after I was able to convince him. I lost my mother, but my father successfully combined her role and gave me the supports I need to excel. I was also in business before I finally made up my mind,” she said.
As the month of Ramadan is a few weeks away, Eyinju Anabi is also preparing to drop a cd titled Adun for the listening pleasure of her numerous fans home and in the Diaspora.
The eight-track work, according to her, is expected to change the face of gospel music while she admonished her fellow singers to be focused and build strong determination to push their career forward.
