Apostle Suleman and Omoyele Sowore
Apostle Johnson Suleman, the President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide and CEO, CelebrationTV Network Ltd, Hossana oil and gas has indicated that he might stand as a surety for Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore was the presidential candidate of African Action Congress(AAC) and the convener of #RevolutionNow protest.
Recall that Sowore has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) for 93 days after he was arrested in Lagos, August 3, 2019.
He was arraigned alongside Olawale Bakare on a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony, cyberstalking, and money laundering before the court.
Tribune Online recalls Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu granted bail at N100million and two sureties in the same amount and barred from travelling out of Abuja.

Ojukwu also ordered one of Sowore’s sureties to deposit N50 million to the court as security. The judge, however, varied the conditions of the bail.
The judge added that the sureties, who must be residents in Abuja, must also have landed assets worth the bail sum in Abuja and should deposit the original title documents of the assets with the court.
Despite reducing the bail bond, Sowore had remained in custody due to his inability to produce sureties to perfect his bail.
Suleman via his verified handle, @APOSTLESULEMAN on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, lamented Sowore’s continued detention and inability to get a surety.
He said that: “I am really worried that nobody is ready to stand surety for @YeleSowore
“Yes, he has hurt a lot of people, me inclusive.
“But do we focus on that and let him rot where he is even if he caused it in a situation like this what will Christ do? I am ‘considering’ standing bail for him.”
Recall that March 2017, Apostle Johnson Suleman filed a libel suit of N1billion against Sahara Reporters’ owner for defaming his character over his alleged involvement in a sex scandal with Stephanie Otobo.
