‘I lost my child last year’, Bella Shmurda welcomes baby boy, recounts ugly experience

Popular Nigerian artist, Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has become the latest father in town after welcoming a baby boy with his partner.

The elated father, who took to Twitter to share the good news with his fans and supporters, recounted the ugly experience of losing his child at birth last year, which left him emotionally wrecked.

According to him, he was preparing to drop his 2022 album, ‘Hypertension,’ when the unfortunate incident occurred, adding that it was the darkest moment of his life.

He, however, disclosed that heaven has smiled at him again after welcoming a baby boy just a few days before the release of his upcoming project.

He wrote, “A few days to the drop of my album last year, I was an emotional and mental wreck. I’d just gotten to the UK where I was scheduled to do some promotional activities when I heard the news that I’d lost the child I was expecting at birth.

“At the same time, I started getting threats to my life. The mere fact that I was in the UK was an opportunity for certain people to hurt me, and I saw a video of a group of guys that had been sent to a location I was supposed to be to attack me there.

“I was hurt, angry, and confused. It was the darkest place I’d ever been in my life, but somehow, light found its way through to me in that tunnel. It’s a few days to the drop of my project this year. This time, I got news that my little boy is here.”

Fans and lovers of the music star have, however, flooded the post’s comment section to congratulate him over the arrival of his new bundle of joy.
