I find used condoms in our home, my husband’s car —Wife

Published by

A businesswoman, Lilian Pam, has dragged her husband, Melvin before a Customary Court in Jikwoyi, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), accusing him of having extramarital affairs.

Pam giving her evidence said, “My husband committed adultery with several women. This is evidenced by the countless numbers of used condoms scattered all around my matrimonial home and in his car.

“He has been denying me my conjugal right, for over two years now,” she said.

She also told the court that her husband takes intoxicants like alcohol and the effect on him makes him cruel, brutal and violent to her.

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Pat explained that she made several attempts to stop him from drinking, smoking and womanising, but he refused.

She, therefore, prayed the court to grant her divorce and custody of their only child.

The respondent, Melvin, who was present in court, denied the allegations.

The presiding judge, Mr Dada Oluwaseyi, advised the couple to explore an out of court settlement.

He thus adjourned the case.
