Megan Thee Stallion expressed her deep fear that rapper Tory Lanez may attempt to harm her again after his release from prison, as she testified in court on Thursday.
The emotional Houston native, 29, detailed how Lanez, 32, has carried out a “campaign of harassment” against her while incarcerated, prompting the judge to issue a five-year civil restraining order.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan nearly five years ago.
“I just feel like I have to relive it every day,” Megan Thee Stallion said during her testimony.
“The person who shot me won’t let me forget it. I’m scared that when he gets out of jail he’s going to still be upset with me … I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again and maybe this time I won’t make it.”
Judge Richard Bloom ruled that Lanez must avoid all contact with Megan, including indirect communication, for the next five years.
Megan also described the ongoing emotional toll of Lanez’s actions, stating, “I’m just tired of being harassed.”
