I have faced trial this year I will prevail — Davido

2017 has come with some mixed feelings for pop star, Davido, and he has even promised to end the year with his shoulders high, despite the many challenges he has faced.

He may have had the biggest songs in the outgoing year and staged many sold out concerts in Europe and other African countries, the last few months have been challenging for the pop star, whose name has been in the news for the greater part of the year.

The mysterious circumstances that led to the death of three of Davido’s friends almost bellied the success he has recorded this year with his music, but the IF crooner insisted that no matter the many hurdles he crossed, he would remain humble and focus on his music.

Speaking on what 2017 has brought his way, Davido maintained that he faced some trying moments this year, but insisted that he would continue to rise above every obstacle that comes his way, adding that challenges were meant to make one stronger and better.

In a brief encounter with R during the week, Davido disclosed that despite the trials came his way, they were not enough to overshadow the success he recorded in music. With two major hit songs back to back, Davido pointed out that he was always certain he would overcome his trials.

Davido, who on Friday, released another song, FIA, promised to release the visuals in a matter of days.

“We are not stopping. It is going to be more music all the way. Let’s keep the people entertained across the world.”

According to him, “I have faced many trials this year and I have prevailed over all of them. I am not tired. That’s why I keep working hard to silence my critics. I am dropping another new single FIA on Friday and everybody seemed to fall in love with it. That is how to show the people that you mean business. Despite the trials, we are still doing what we are committed to,” he said.
