I don’t have a life anymore, BBN winner, Mercy Eke, cries out

Less than two months after making history as the first female to win the Big Brother Naija (BBN) show, Mercy Eke has cried out, saying she was tired of the celebrity life and would love to have her real life back.

The BBN winner has been in excitement mood since October as she has reportedly bagged endorsement deals and has been living a life of opulence. But beneath the fame and fortune she has enjoyed in the last few weeks, she said she would love to return to her old life.

During a live session with her fans, a tired Mercy noted that though she prayed for a good life, her workload and engagements since she left the BBN house had been unbearable, describing the experience as ‘crazy.’

“I am really getting tired of fame. If this is what fame is all about, I want to have my real life back. I can tell you that my new-found fame is taking its toll on me physically, emotionally and otherwise. I really want to have my old life back and be with the people I want to stay with,” she said.
