I am still a bonafide member of PDP ― Senator Ewuga

A gubernatorial aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  Sen. Senator Ewuga, has denied the rumour making round that he has left the party to APC.
He stated this in a press statement signed by his media consultant, Danjuma Joseph and made available to Tribune Online on Sunday, saying he still remains a bonafide PDP Member.
According to the statement, “In the past few days, Distinguish Senator Solomon Ewuga, have been inundated with calls from friends and political associates seeking clarification on the rumours of his departure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Be informed that the rumour is a figment of the imagination of the peddlers”.
The statement stated that he wondered how someone could expect him to quit a house that he jointly built with other patriots since 1999 and move to another.
Stressing that it was true that the enormous pressure brought to bear of his move to another party, because of the glaring injustice meted out on him during the recent PDP primaries.
Senator Ewuga, wish to maintain that his earlier stands that he would not defect at this critical period that his party PDP, needs his attention and support.

For those who knew him very well over the years, would attest the fact that Senator Ewuga always struggled for equity, justice and fairness of all, especially the downtrodden of Nasarawa state.
“Let it be known that his path in politics is in the hands of the Almighty God, who has indeed been very faithful and gracious to him. He is very grateful to God for this.
“Senator Ewuga’s vision in politics is a system that works for everybody, a social and political environment where everybody, every section, and every tribe not only counts but is also seen to count. Leaders must be mindful of this, for any system built on anything less will not endure”, the statement stated.
He thanked His Excellency, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, for appointing him to lead the 2018 Pilgrims to Israel.
Adding that he begged the Governor to allow him to send a representative of good standing in the state, which the Governor kindly consented to his plead for  Barrister John Mathew to stand in him in the delegation to the  Holy Land.
He gratefully thanked all members of his family, friends, political associates, and admirers across the state and beyond, for their uncommon concern.
