Nollywood actress, Venita Akpofure, has opened up about the state of her marriage to her ex-husband,  Terna Tarka, saying that their marriage had crashed and both parties have moved on.

A few days back, news came to town that the actress was not having it rosy with her marriage as people claimed that the marriage may have crashed due to domestic violence.

The actress, who got married a few years ago, gave birth to two children before the break-up of the union and in a post on her Instagram account, she said she was not suffering anydomestic violence as her marriage to Tarka had ended some months back.

She absolved her ex-husband of being  violent, describing him as a great father to their two daughters.

The light-skinned actress said she and her husband had split mutually and had remained best of friends since then for the sake of their daughters.

“I want to make one thing clear, my ex is not a violent man and I am not a victim of domestic violence. My ex is not a violent person and is indeed a great father to our lovely daughters. We have mutually split and we have great co-parents to our kids. God bless you all,” she said.
