HWPL Chairman tasks journalists to work with NGO to achieve world peace

Published by

CHAIRMAN, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), Hee Lee, has charged journalists throughout the world to keep working for peace, an initiative of HWPL, to propagate the practical resolution for world peace.

Chairman Lee stated this during his trip to the UN headquarters, Washington DC, LA, and five other European countries with peace missions on a Peace Tour.
Chairman Lee and the delegation met with government officials, women, youth leaders and religious leaders in two recent visits, and held peace forums and signed MOUs with them.

While addressing more than 500 people including representatives of the United Nations in 145 countries, religious leaders, representatives of women and youth, and media, Chairman Lee urged the Ambassadors to implement international laws that end the war and to fulfill them.

This singular act got him a standing ovation for everyone who gathered there.

He said “Every journalist can achieve peace. We, HWPL, suggest the Peace Initiatives. However, aren’t the journalists who actually make it happen?

“It is the journalists who are going to let everyone hear about the practical resolution for world peace and urge to do it.”

Lee noted that at every Peace Tour, he has been emphasizing the role of the media, gathering journalists and finally urged journalists to keep working for peace with journalism.

“We can encompass people from all works of life by spreading peace news.”

During the Peace Tours, former presidents and prime ministers from each country also wrote letters supporting the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula, including the desire for the freedom of the two Korea, and the desire for unification and peace.

HWPL’s peace movements are gaining international acclaim, according to a statement from the Department of Public Relations, HWPL (International).

The initiator, Chairman Lee, who leads HWPL, is 88 years old and has already travelled around the world 28 times, in accordance with the dreams of cessation of war and world peace and the will of God.

HWPL started a peace movement to end global war with a very simple logic that “when everyone has thought for peace, global peace becomes a reality.” The HWPL’s greatest achievement is that it brings hope to mankind that it is possible for peace.

Five years after HWPL has kept on urging the future generations to take part in the world of peace without war, and the efforts are now seen as great outcome.

“This is a time peace can be achieved in this world. Peace is not a country or any individual work, but the work that we all should do. One step for us who walk in step toward peace being seen as fruitful fruits,” HWPL stated.
