My husband’s drug problem

I have been married now for 15 years to my husband who works in another town here in Nigeria. Last year, he was transferred back to Lokoja where the family is and we started living together as a family for the first time. That was when I noticed his habitual use of drugs such as Indian hemp and Tramadol among others. He acts funny after taking the drugs with occasional mood swings and aggressive behaviour. I have spoken to him on this but he has not changed. Kindly let me know how to handle the problem.

Drug addiction is usually a difficult thing to handle alone. For this reason, you may need to involve members of your husband’s family and if possible, his Pastor or Church elders. Through these groups of people, your husband should go for drug rehabilitation. With this and your kind support, he should be able to overcome his problem.
